What an amazing high bandwidth FM system that you MAY not be able to find ANYWHERE ELSE. With its specially engineered matching circuitry and built in directional antennas, this unit has tested at over 50 miles in outdoor LOS (line-of-sight) conditions with properly oriented transmitter & receiver. It's hard to put a maximum range on this because it's difficult to find enough distance. One customer has tested unit at over 48 miles, but it had to be done between mountain ranges in two different STATES! TXRX-1WW system also has excellent barrier penetration ability (through 2-8 barriers such as walls and floors) for shorter range applications.
This system INCLUDES the normally optional 30 ft. 'quick-connect' video + power plugs. With this setup, you can power the transmitter and receiver units from 30 feet away, as well as run video + power an additional 30' from transmitter.
The matched system features a HIGH RF output power transmitter - and highly sensitive receiver, both with 6dB directional antennas. Transmitter is NOT channel-selectable but 2 different channels are available (read more below) for multi-link usage. These devices are TOTALLY directional, which means that LONG distances in LOS (line-of sight) conditions or even shorter distances through barrier(s) will REQUIRE that each unit be properly pointed facing each other, with only a few degrees of variable margin of 'play' to achieve or maintain optimum signal.
These are figured for channels "2" and "3", which will work in each other's presence if an additional indoor or outdoor system link is ordered for simultaneous use. If 2 separate link systems are purchased at once, order will AUTOMATICALLY be shipped with 2 ALTERNATE channel units (to ensure excellent use when in relative proximity to each other). If for some reason user needs 2 or more systems on the SAME frequency/ channel, please simply contact us.
Neither transmitter nor receiver is designed for auxiliary attachments such as higher gain antennas, amplifiers, etc.. Even though this frequency resides outside of the FCC part 15 "ISM" band ('Industrial, Scientific, Medical') used by consumer-type 2.4 stuff, powerful systems like these may cause some interference on weaker signal 2.4 devices, include wireless LAN computer networking, 2.4 gig cordless telephones, alternate video transmission and other devices.
High-quality FM wireless video is amazing and may work very well for a given user application. However, it is certainly not 'magic'. Choosing the best frequency/ RF power and the most appropriate antenna(s) for the given application will greatly improve user's odds for desired success. A careful analysis of all known factors and a preparedness for certain types of potential problems which can never be fully realized until initial site trial and potential re-orientation of a system. We carry ONLY wireless equipment manufactured with quality-engineered onboard surface mount board + processor components (critical to produce a high quality wireless video unit). Too many in our industry are making false and exaggerated claims about their inferior products and about wireless video technology in general. You never have or will find such products or erroneous information on our site.

Cautions:
NOTE: 2 of our TXRX-1WW systems can be used together at different frequencies. HOWEVER, user cannot use a TXRX-1WW in conjunction with even an alternate channel TX/RX-XWR system. The output power is just too strong and will tend to override any weaker signals which aren't even that close in frequency. These ARE NEMA 64 rated weatherproof outdoor transmitter and receiver housings, but units must be tightened down properly with rubber gasket rings in proper position- and not over-tightened as to cause pinching (which may result in breach of seal integrity).
This device is NOT audio capable.
Because this unit has no built-in 'reverse polarity protection' circuitry, it MUST be powered PROPERLY and ONLY with available power accessories to guarantee SAFE operation. Using improper 'reverse power' (i.e. a power supply with center pin negative polarity) WILL DESTROY THIS UNIT. Unregulated transformers marked at "12 volts DC" are more likely producing 18-30 volts, as seen when tested with a simple DC volt meter. While over-voltage of electronic circuitry may allow operation, but may also be greatly decreasing device longevity by "over-driving" and likely overheating that circuitry, which may even result in immediate damage.
