This achieved because the processor operates in "sleep mode" until motion is detected, when the camera switches on and begins recording.

The COV-ROCK2 can be placed anywhere outside, with no worries about running wires, wireless worries or short battery life. Use it to watch your house, outbuildings, boat docks, vacation homes and more! Just set it and let it record! Camera will record whenever motion is detected.

The Advantage Of The SD Card Memory System
For long term surveillance you can simply and quickly remove and switch out the card once a day or every couple of days and leave the COV-ROCK2 in place to keep recording.

Completely Self Contained And A Total Covert Video System
Each COV-ROCK2 is totally covert and completely self contained. Up until now, outdoor stationary covert video required you to mess with time consuming wires or to contend with wireless connections that depended on good reception which didn't work half the time. All of these problems and time consuming tasks have been eliminated using these all in one hidden camera systems. These new units have eliminated the requirement of additional recording equipment for a covert video system. There is no need to worry about wireless connections or running wire to a video recorder as everything, including a high grade digital video recorder, is built right in. The camera goes on and off when motion is detected so it's always ready to covertly video record when the action happens. The COV-ROCK2 records directly to a SD card and feature MPEG 4, 30FPS, JPEG images for even longer record time, and Time & Date stamping. The long life battery pack will last one year and one 32 GB SD card gives you up to 80 hours of motion activated recording time.
