Don't confuse this with most other indoor dome cameras you'll see out there- many of which are antiques. 480+ horizontal TV lines / 0.5 lux performs BETTER than technical specifications. The CC-8EX features a newly revised 1/3" Sony® SuperHAD® DSP (digital signal processing) CCD imager chipset for truly excellent video.
Like any manually adjustable zoom/ focus (varifocal) lens camera, this is a nice way to be sure you'll have the perfect view angle from wide to medium angle. So, instead of wondering if a 4mm, 6mm, or 8mm fixed focus lens will work the best in models like our #CC-8HAD/HR, user can be confident to find any angle in between with a razor sharp picture.
Fairly quick and easy to set up and mount. User has ability to manually change the pan and tilt and zoom/ focus of the camera to get optimum angle and view. You can mount this flush to a wall or ceiling. Aspect is set up for ceiling mount, but some choose to 'flip' aspect of camera for wall use. Please see cautions tag below to see why some extra care must be used when handling camera.
