DSP (digital signal processing) CCD inline bullet (a.k.a. 'lipstick')
camera with Sony SuperHAD 1/3" imager. Adjustable focus 4-8mm
zoom lens included installed. This unit is compatible with ALL of
our recorders and wireless equipment. It's also compatible
with all consumer monitors as well as most television sets (those with
standard composite RCA or BNC inputs).
Profile:
This is a nice camera
for certain general and specialized purposes. Often used in situations
where the camera may be moved or the user requires ability to make
small manual adjustments for ideal zoom and focus.... or is just
not quite sure which fixed focus lens will provide the ideal wide
to medium angle view. The same "380+ horizontal TV lines /
0.5 lux" cam now has a sharp picture capable of performing
in low light situations.

We also carry
the #CC-7VF with 4-8mm varifocal lens. Even though they use the
same chipset, the smaller #CC-7VF provides just a bit better color
saturation in a wider variety of lighting conditions. Between the
two, the primary advantage of the #CC-5VF is its ease of mounting
due to the removable 360 swivel mount bracket.
If the highest
resolution imaging is required- and a little more space permits-
you may want to consider the use of our high resolution color #TV-XCS
or #TV-CV48 cameras instead of this one. Only a little larger and
heavier, they use the latest Sony® high resolution/ low light
G5 technology, and have an array of extra features, including onboard
controls through RS-232 remote cable.
Our #TV-C270
is the ultimate in high resolution remote powered zoom ability.
Cautions:
This is a non-weatherproof
camera, and as such- must be treated with extra care and NEVER left
outdoors without the proper protective housings.
