The ANT-2414flat panel antenna is a great choice for optimizing the range potential of 2.4 GHz wireless audio/video link systems. This antenna has a high 14 dBi gain, giving it the ability to potentially increase range up to approximately 8x with a wireless transmitter and receiver system. The ANT-2414 can be set up on the transmitter side, receiver side, or both for the absolute best signal performance.

However, as a highly directional antenna the ANT-2414 is not typically recommended for short range wireless broadcasts. This antenna is meant to be pointed DIRECTLY at the antenna on the opposite side of your wireless transmission, preferably with a pure line of sight between the two antennas.

The antenna has an N plug for its RF (radio frequency) output providing simple plug and play use with many Eyespyvideo.com 2.4 GHz wireless equipment using an N to SMA cable (see below).

The ANT-2414 is weatherproof and can be mounted outdoors or indoors with its included pole-mounting hardware. Due to its large size (8.5" square), the ANT-2414 flat panel antenna may not be suitable for many miniature video applications but works very well for long range stationary wireless video.

Use this antenna with the THX-2450, THX-24X1, THX-24X2, and THX-24X4 transmitters. It can also be implemented in combination with the RX-2410 receiver or MRX-2400 receiver / LCD monitor.

  • The wide dynamic range (WDR) function of a camera is intended to provide clear images even under extreme light circumstances where intensity of illumination can vary excessively, namely when there are both very bright and very dark areas simultaneously in the field of view of the camera. WDR enables the capture and display of both bright and dark areas in the same frame, in a way that there are details in both areas, i.e. bright areas are not saturated, and dark areas are not too dark. It also offers amazing low light capability.
  • Digital Noise refers to the random dot pattern that is superimposed on the picture as a result of electronic noise; the 'snow' that is similar to what can be seen with poor (analog) television reception or on VHS tapes. The Digital Noise Reduction feature reduces that "noise" from the cctv camera image.
