AM-1 Miniature line-level audio microphone with special high-gain preamp and auto-level adjust circuitry built in. This unit is 'plug & play' compatible with ALL of our audio-capable transmitters, DVR/ VCR recorders and monitors. Also compatible with all consumer VCRs and most consumer television sets (those with standard composite RCA audio inputs).

What a great microphone!! We can't say enough about the quality or sensitivity/ gain of this unit. We have been complimented on this mic hundreds of times over the last 5-6 years. There are apparently a LOT of lookalike models out there (ranging from half our price to over ten times as much) which don't even come CLOSE to providing the audio this one does.

The range of the #AM-1 is AMAZING! It can pick up conversational audio at up to 30' away or more.

When user does a simple "test 1, 2" directly into the mic near an active sound source. However, when recorded audio is played back and volume cranked up, the stellar ability of gain shines through.

• Wildlife monitoring (when properly protected if used outdoors).

Available Options:

#BAT-2 "pigtail" (allows user to power the mic with a simple 9V battery) included FREE with each AM-1 ordered.

Can be powered by our #BAT-1/3/AAA battery packs or our #ACC-AUTO heavy duty fused vehicle power cord.

User can also power the #AM-1 safely and continuously with our #PWR-500R fully regulated 12v DC transformer (#AM-1 is safely powered from 7-14 volts DC).

  • The new CC-5XDWDR Color Weatherproof Bullet Camera has incredibly clear 700 TV lines of resolution, Digital Wide Dynamic Range and 2D Digital Noise Reduction.
  • The wide dynamic range (WDR) function of a camera is intended to provide clear images even under extreme light circumstances where intensity of illumination can vary excessively, namely when there are both very bright and very dark areas simultaneously in the field of view of the camera. WDR enables the capture and display of both bright and dark areas in the same frame, in a way that there are details in both areas, i.e. bright areas are not saturated, and dark areas are not too dark. It also offers amazing low light capability.
  • Digital Noise refers to the random dot pattern that is superimposed on the picture as a result of electronic noise; the 'snow' that is similar to what can be seen with poor (analog) television reception or on VHS tapes. The Digital Noise Reduction feature reduces that "noise" from the cctv camera image.
  • This is the best bullet camera we have seen in terms of performance.
  • If you are installing a new system or upgrading an existing one this would be the best choice. It is cutting edge so you won't have to worry about having out-dated equipment 6 months from now.
