Profile:
What a super little camera! Don't confuse this with most similar-looking cameras you'll find out there- many of which are complete junk. The technical specifications (specs) haven't changed in over 3 years - but the performance sure has! The same "380+ horizontal TV lines / 0.5 lux" cam now has an overall sharper picture capable of performing in lower light situations than even the last revision version. The CC-7HAD has even blown some "high resolution" 480 line cameras away in side-by-side comparisons for true visual clarity and color. A super choice for stationary applications- whether for covert / hidden / disguised purposes..... or just general video use. With the newly revised 1/3" Sony SuperHAD DSP (digital signal processing) CCD imager chipset- this features identical picture quality to our other enclosed case CC-7HAD configurations, as well as the exposed board CC-1HAD.
We carry ONLY the LATEST and BEST in CCTV chipset technology and circuit board engineering (both aspects are critical to produce a high quality CCD camera)! Too many in our industry are still liquidating 'antiques' on an unsuspecting public, often even unaware themselves that better technology exists.
Common Applications:
• General covert / disguised use as it easy to hide behind many types of materials
• Economical indoor security solutions
• Onboard vehicle use including security and backup purposes
• OEM & scientific / machine purposes
Available Options:
DELUXE 7 piece bonus accessory kit included FREE with each camera ordered! ($60+ value) Features 25 ft. video + power cable which can be upgraded to 50', 100' or even 150' in your choice of black or white color!
Variations / Alternate Equipment to Consider:
We also carry a sharpnose version #CC-7HS with a slightly protruded lens tip. Still same wide field of view with 3.7mm lens, but may require less modification to back side of certain materials when creating a flush-mount placement.
If the highest resolution covert imaging is required- and a little more space permits- you may want to consider the use of our high resolution color #TV-CPHR camera instead of this one. The TV-CPHR is larger and heavier, but uses the latest Sony® high resolution/ low light G5 technology, as well as an array of extra features.
We have an exposed board module version of this camera, the #CC-1HAD. Though the board width/ height is a few millimeters larger than the enclosed case metal versions, this camera weighs less and slightly lower in profile. Also, the video/ power cable comes straight down from the bottom of the camera- rather than attached to a 90° plug at the rear. This may allow for easier covert use in certain (esp. clothing/ body worn) applications.
Though neither are covert, we also carry the #CC-7HM with interchangeable board lenses available (2.45mm, 2.97mm, 6mm, 8mm, 12mm, 16mm), as well as the the CC-7VF, which features a built-in 4-8mm adjustable focus zoom lens.
Cautions:
This is a non-weatherproof camera, and as such- must be treated with extra care and NEVER left outdoors without the proper protective housings.
Fixed pinhole lens is not interchangeable like many of our board-type lens cameras.
